SAVE SPACE RALLY

Local Lodge 2061 is a sponsor for a rally to be held April, 11th at Cocoa Expo. Many community organizations, businesses, faith based groups, unions, Florida Today and Brevard County are sponsoring, as well. Congressman Bill Posey has confirmed as a speaker. We have requested Congresswoman Suzanne Kosmas, Lt. Governor Jeff Kottkamp and retired astronauts to speak also. The gates are tentatively scheduled to open at 3:00 pm with the program starting at 4:00 pm. There will be music and attractions for the children. Once again, I am asking those members interested in saving their jobs to volunteer as marshals and other logistical duties. We are hopeful we can build on the momentum of the February 27th rally and gain congressional support for the continuation of human space flight at Kennedy Space Center.
