2019 BOSS Negotiations Update

Brothers and sisters,

Your Negotiations Committee met again with the company this morning.  After several more rounds of counter proposals for both Economic and Non Economic issues, we were presented with the BAFO (Best And Final Offer) from the company.  Details will be presented at the Ratification Meeting.  Look for the announcement of date and time on this blog and your union bulletin board.  We look forward to presenting the BAFO to our membership.We have an agreement that the committee can recommend for approval.

7/27/19 Negotitations update

Brothers and sisters,

Our Negotiating team received the companies 2nd Non Economics proposal.  The company explained their proposal.  We caucused and discussed it at length.  We then assembled our T/A's and handed our Unions 3rd pass at Non Economic proposals.  After BR Dimeco finished explaining our 3rd proposal we passed our 1st Economic proposal to the company.  We are close to wrapping up the Non Economic portion.   Brother Dimeco explained our Economic proposal and waited for the companies 1st counter proposal.  We received their 1st counter proposal and heard their explanation.  We are currently wrapping up for the evening after another long day and will meet again at 8am to continue negotiations for our brothers and sisters.

Negotiations Update

Brothers and sisters,

Your Negotiating Committee met with the company this morning.  Brothers Jody Bennett (Aerospace), Tony Wirth (GLR) were joined today by GVP Mark Blondin at the negotiating table.  Brother Blondin emphasized how important this contract is to the International in the Aerospace Service Contract sector. 

BR Kevin Dimeco led our side and opened with high hopes for a fair and equitable contract.   We presented our !st pass for Non Economics, which the company countered after lunch.  We reviewed their counter proposal and continue on Non Economic proposals.

2019 BOSS Negotiations prep has started

Brothers and sisters,

Your Negotiating Committee started negotiations prep work on Friday July 19, 2019.  We worked late Friday and are just now finishing up Non Economic proposals this evening based upon your important surveys and comments.  Thank you for sharing your ideas and letting us know what priorities you deem most important.

Brothers Tony Wirth, Grand Lodge Rep, and Jody Bennett, Chief of Staff for Aerospace, joined your team of negotiators to assist in getting a just and fair contract for all BOSS employees.
